This database of renal inner medullary collecting duct (IMCD) proteins from potassium-deprived rats is based on protein mass spectrometry data. All data are from IMCD cells freshly isolated from rat renal inner medullas.
Brief Methods: Samples were analyzed using LTQ Orbitrap XL mass spectrometer equipped with nanoflow ultra-high pressure liquid chromatography system. The mass spectra were analyzed using two search algorithms, SEQUEST (Bioworks version 3.31 SP1) and InsPecT (version 20070905). Searches were performed on rat RefSeq database (National Center for Biotechnology Information, January, 2012, 31724 entries).
